Show Up Exactly How You Are
You don’t have to shoulder it on your own.
Maybe you’re tired of carrying everything. You may appear like you’re holding it all together, but inside you feel like a mess. You keep moving, showing up for everyone, and going through the motions. But really, you’re exhausted. You have no idea who you are anymore.
Maybe you’re a military spouse who is tired of constant reinvention and transitions (I get it!). New duty stations, new schools, new friendships…wondering where to get a haircut or which pediatrician is best. Just when life begins to feel settled, everything changes again. You’re grieving pieces of yourself and your old life while trying to stay strong for everyone else.
Maybe your relationship doesn’t feel like it used to. You both go through the motions but don’t connect. Conversations turn into arguments or silence. You love each other, but somewhere along the way you’ve begun feeling more like roommates than partners. You want to feel satisfied in your relationship and don’t know how to get there.
Maybe you’re standing in the middle of a major life transition: a move, becoming a parent, an empty nest, career changes, or simply realizing the life you’ve built no longer feels like it fits. You know something needs to change, but you’re not sure where to start. You feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious.
Maybe you’ve spent so much time taking care of everyone else that you’ve lost sight of what you need.
If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Why Adults and Couples Choose to Work With Me
Therapy doesn’t require you to have everything figured out but it can be the stepping stone to creating the life you want. It can simply be a place to pause, make sense of what’s happening, and reconnect with yourself and the people you love.
When we work together, you’ll find a trusted resource – someone to hold space for you and tell you like it is, with a kind and direct approach. There may be a bit of sarcasm thrown in the mix, too. I will show up as a real person, and invite you to do the same.
You won’t get judgment or someone who is trying to “fix” you. You will get honesty and curiosity about what’s going on for you.
You also won’t get therapy that is overly stiff or clinical. We will focus on what is actually happening in your life, and how you can make changes to shift it.
I bring both professional training and lived experience into the room as a mom and military spouse who has navigated many life transitions, uncertainty, and challenges. Life can be messy, challenging, beautiful, and overwhelming. I get it.
I’m here to sift through the muck with you with warmth, honesty, and a direct approach. Together we can explore what it is you need, what is going well, and what change might look like for you.
Out-of-Pocket Fee: $40 per 50-minute session for individual therapy *sliding scale and reduced fees available case-by-case*
Insurance: As a graduate student therapist, I am not able to bill therapy sessions to insurance. Clients can, however, use FSA/HSA accounts for session payments, and our billing team can provide monthly superbills.

Your Journey Starts Here
Meet Trish

As a mom, military spouse, and Marriage and Family Therapist intern, I bring both professional training and personal experience to my work with clients.
Having navigated many life transitions and uncertainty while balancing family, relationships, and personal goals, I understand how difficult change can be. Life can feel overwhelming in both challenging and beautiful ways.
Working With Me
Seeking therapy can feel very vulnerable and like a big step. I want to create a place where you can show up as yourself and know there is space for you to feel seen and accepted simply by being you.
People would describe me as warm, direct, and nonjudgmental. I believe you are the expert on your own life, but sometimes it can be hard to see the forest through the trees. I bring natural curiosity and thoughtful questions to help clients view themselves in a new light.
I believe that we can’t always control what happens to us, but we can take steps (or even tiptoe) to build the life we want. Therapy can be a place to gain clarity, see things differently, and recognize patterns that keep us stuck.
With a collaborative and solution-focused approach, together we will work to build on your strengths and identify realistic steps that will help you achieve the life and relationships you want.
I’m here to support you whether you are navigating a life transition, relationship concerns, anxiety, stress, or personal growth. My goal is to help you feel empowered to make meaningful changes and build a life that reflects your values and goals.
My Background – And Fun Facts!
I am a Graduate Student Intern currently completing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. I am supervised under Kim Rippy, LPC, and Kaitlyn Steel, LMFT. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Fine arts from The College of New Jersey and taught Kindergarten for many years prior to starting my family. I also hold a certification from the Nutritional Therapy Association and am a Certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
My work as a therapist is grounded in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). This means we’ll look at what’s already working for you, while also slowing down to understand the emotions and patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Outside of therapy, I have “granny hobbies” abound. I bake and teach sourdough classes, work at a flower farm, and love spending time with my daughters, husband and sweet boxer, Tahoe. I love reading, am always on the hunt at thrift stores, and usually am doing any of the above while listening to a podcast.
