Billing Practices
Our out-of-pocket rates are set depending on level of therapist (see below). Our therapists work in-network with some insurances, and out-of-network with others. For billing and insurance questions, please email [email protected].
Clients are responsible for payments at the time of services. We accept payments through HSA cards, and all major credit cards. The fee for missing a scheduled appointment, being more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment, or for cancelling with less than 24-hours notice is the full out-of-pocket session fee. This fee is not covered or eligible for reimbursement by insurance.
Out-of-Pocket Rates
Licensed Therapists - $175*
Licensed therapists have completed a Master's program in counseling practice or education, a 2+ year clinical residency, and passed the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Exam. Licensed counselors maintain their licenses in good standing with annual trainings and CEUs.
*Rates are listed at cost per 50-minute session.
Resident Therapists - $140*+
Resident therapists have completed their Master's degree in counseling practice or education, and are currently in their 2+ year residency towards their license. All residents are under clinical supervision of a Board Approved Licensed Clinical Supervisor.

Out-of-Network Reimbursement
We offer two options to support our clients pursuing out-of-network reimbursement:
- Courtesy Billing: Our team will submit claims on your behalf to your insurance company, streamlining the reimbursement process and allowing you to focus on your therapy. Typically, this allows for quicker reimbursement and avoidance of delays in processing.
- Superbills: Our team provides superbills for out-of-network clients. A superbill is a detailed invoice you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Typically, this is a longer process and requires you to complete the submission process.
We strongly recommend that you verify your out-of-network benefits with your insurance provider before starting therapy. This includes understanding your out-of-network deductible, co-insurance, and any limits on the number of sessions covered.

Using In-Network Insurance Benefits
If you would like to use your insurance for therapy services, please first call the number on the back of your insurance card to verify your coverage and payments for mental health psychotherapy services prior to scheduling an appointment. Clients are responsible for understanding their insurance coverage, session payments, copays and coinsurance. If a client meets with a therapist, and the insurance is found to be out-of-network or inactive, the client will be charged the full out-of-pocket session fee.
*Note: Most insurance plans restart annually, requiring clients to meet a deductible before having lower fees of a copay or co-insurance. Fees due to Keystone may increase at this time until deductibles are met.

- Cigna EAP
- GEHA
- Optum Behavioral Health
- UMR & Compass Rose
- United Healthcare
Certified Out-of-Network
We are Certified Out-of-Network providers with with TRICARE. This means our credentials have been reviewed by TRICARE and we meet their standards for out-of-network reimbursement. With this designation, our TRICARE clients are eligible to receive reimbursement through Courtesy Billing or Superbills.
CareFirst Network Termination - Effective November 10, 2024
We will be terminating our in-network participation with BCBS CareFirst, CareFirst Federal Employee Program, and BlueChoice plans, effective 11/10/2024. Clients with these plans may continue to use their in-network benefits through 11/9/2024.
After that date, BCBS clients may continue working with us as an out-of-network client, and we will support clients to pursue out-of-network reimbursement through Courtesy Billing or Superbills (see information for Out-of-Network Reimbursement above).
