I completed my clinical mental health counseling degree at George Mason University, entering the field after many years in healthcare. I find purpose in the real and meaningful conversations during life’s most significant events or deepest questions. I am genuine, compassionate, and non-judgmental. Often, we suffer because the life we pictured is not the life we have. That doesn’t mean there isn’t beauty, meaning, and significance right here, right now. Some of our greatest challenges move us towards our greatest growth and give us purpose.

I hold Bachelor’s degrees in biology from Bucknell University and nursing from Georgetown University. I also hold a Master’s degree in family nurse practitioner from Georgetown University. I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in hospital and outpatient settings. I have a passion for working with those who are experiencing mood disorders, anxiety/depression, trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, grief, infertility, post-partum issues, stress management, weight or body image concerns, and life transitions. I believe that the integration of the mind and body is necessary for a healthy being.

Together, we will work on acceptance, self-compassion, collaborative change, and discover patterns that aren’t working anymore. I believe clients are the experts on themselves and often already know what they need, but just need help getting there. I can’t wait to meet you!
